How secure are the records?
Unlike other services, Pepper Law Group does not use file transfer protocol (FTP) when you transfer your records to us. FTP transfers files and passwords in clear text for anyone to see, and files are sent unencrypted across the Internet. Instead, records are sent to us via a SSL-secure browser, using the same strong encryption used by banks to send sensitive financial information. All records are backed up in dual off-site locations, in a data center featuring the following computer network security measures:
- Ballistic-proof exterior, including doors & windows
- Fingerprint scanners and ID checking for all entry and exit of the facility
- Double Man Traps force double verification and provides extra secure data center entry
