Question: There are so many law firms out there, what makes you different?

You´d be hard pressed to find another law firm that has our combination of experience working as in-house legal counsel for large, publicly-traded software companies, in addition to years of private practice working with individuals, small companies, and large corporate enterprises. With this experience comes a wealth of knowledge and innovation that very few other law firms can provide, along with ability to deliver results in a nimble, cost-effective fashion.

Question: How does your firm charge?

Our services are normally charged on an hourly basis, and in many cases, we are able to offer fixed-price arrangement for certain services. We structure up-front retainers for new clients to cover our time and expenses for our initial provision of legal services.

Question: Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal.

Question: Do you sell form contracts?

We believe it is a disservice to sell "one-size-fits-all" form contracts to our clients. Nearly every contract, whether it´s a software license agreement, non-disclosure agreement, professional services agreement, or other transaction, is custom and has elements that are different than any other arrangement. Without a thorough understanding of every provision of a contract, and how the law affects those provisions, a purchaser of a form agreement doesn´t fully understand what he or she is signing up to. We believe that crafting agreements tailored to the specific needs of the client, at a reasonable cost, is a better way to serve our clients.

Question: Do you charge for initial consultations?

We offer a special discounted rate of only $50.00 for a one-half hour consultation with one of our attorneys.

Question: I want to protect my business name. How do I do that?

Business names, logos, slogans, and similar items are protectable by trademarks. We regularly conduct trademark searches and registrations for our clients to help them protect their brand and identity. Comprehensive trademark searches and a detailed opinion letter of the results are available for a flat fee.

Question: I´m trying to get a recording contract with a record label. Can you help?

We do not "shop" demos to record labels.

Question: I´m a musician/artist/writer/entertainer and need help getting booked, getting gigs, getting connected to the right people in the entertainment industry, or just "getting my stuff out there." Can you do that?

No. These types of services are handled by agents. We can help to copyright your material, and to negotiate recording, publishing, distribution, and other agreements.

Question: I don´t live in New Jersey or Pennsylvania. Can you still help me?

In most cases, yes. Although we are licensed in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, our office represents clients from all over the world and the United States. Much of the paperwork can be handled via fax and email.
